I had wanted to check out the service in the church nearby, but I didn't make it because the oil change of my car took longer than I expected. Talked about "slow service"... I still haven't gotten used to it yet. I tend to forget that things are not done efficiently, so I should allocate more time for errands, be prepared and be early.

"A taste for chocolate" - I came out thinking that I, indeed, need some chocolates; however, venturing into the unknown brands of chocolates sold in U.S. (no offense, just that I haven't gotten used to the sweetness here) stopped me.
"Fake and Forgeries" - Genuine fake art, forgeries... made me think: What is it that makes us pay extra dollars for something we like? Or are we so blind to brands that we are willing to pay extra just because it's a Louis Vuitton or another Prada? I wondered if I bought the Christian Dior bag, because I knew it is a Dior or because I truly like the design of the bag. That is the question. I am uncertain about certain purchases, but I am sure that I love my Balenciaga bag, even before I know Balenciaga. And I would never buy a "fake" - not because I am "not cheap", but because I like the design and I believe in quality; it might not be worth as much as I paid for, but I wouldn't want to risk having a heavier bag, a not so smooth zipper, a fake leather... and not to deny, I wouldn't want to just pay for the "name".
